Design should be fun.

I’m not one to take myself too seriously, and I deeply enjoy playing with type and image to create a visual sense of fun with an upbeat sensibility. I excel at building a visual world around an idea, and have a natural slant towards humor.

I’ve spent 15+ years in Publishing as a Art/Design Director, and now work on the corporate side of things as a Creative Director in charge of Brand.

If there’s no fun being had, why do it?

Dislikes

• Pretentious "About Me" pages

• Clowns, and ghosts of clowns

• Store-bought costumes.

Likes

• Cats doing human things

• Imagining backstories for all the unusual things I find in the street

• Jelly beans

Incidentally

• A love of the absurd and passion to make stuff has led me to start a side gig as a Christmas tree

• Tree Twins is a joint venture aimed at spreading holiday cheer and using in-person interaction to make connections with people in SF and all over the world.
